Dan Ball of Hyeholde brings summer flavors to this savory-sweet, strawberry-studded cocktail.

Strawberry Fields

Ingredients

1 ½ oz Bulleit Rye Whiskey

½ oz St. Elder liqueur

½ oz strawberry balsamic reduction

½ oz fresh lemon juice


Instructions

For the strawberry balsamic reduction: Bring 1/3 cup honey, 1/3 cup water, and 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar brought to boil. Add ½ cup sliced strawberries, simmer for 5 minutes, then blend and strain the mixture.

Shake all ingredients together, then strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Garnish with dehydrated blood orange slice, mint, and enjoy!
