Aubrey Haliburtan Celebrates with a Yule Margarita

Aubrey Haliburtan of LoBar Cocktail Services shares a Chef-Mas recipe for a holiday-ready cocktail.

YULE MARGARITA

INGREDIENTS:

•  1 oz Silver Tequila

•  ¾ oz Mezcal

•  1½  oz Spiced Hibiscus Syrup

•  ½ oz Lime Juice

•  ½ oz Lemon Juice

•  Pinch of Salt

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a shaker, strain over fresh ice, add 
a clove studded orange wedge.

Spiced Hibiscus Syrup

INGREDIENTS:

•  2 C Hibiscus Tea

•  1 C Organic sugar 

•  2 Cinnamon sticks

•  2 T Allspice Berries

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients into a pot. Simmer on low for an hour or until sugar is dissolved. Strain through cheesecloth and cool. This syrup also makes a great Mocktail when combined with soda water and citrus!
