Big, rich, bold, and bitter. That’s how Ryan Kanto of Quantum Spirits describes their negroni, which follows the traditional recipe of gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. The vermouth choice, Carpano Antica, is what sets it apart from the rest. It's a delicious counterpoint to the Quantum Gin, Kanto explains, helping to bring out the spirit’s notes of cardamom.

Head to the Carnegie distillery to test out the negroni and their newly-added kitchen! They recommend pairing the slightly savory cocktail with their sweet, fall-ready squash flatbread.

Bartender’s note: The Quantum team tends to like our Negronis stiff and served up. Kanto wouldn't turn one down served over ice, but it's not his go-to.

Ingredients

1 oz Quantum Spirits Gin

1 oz Carpano Antica

1 oz Campari

Orange peel, for garnish

Instructions

Stir ingredients with ice, strain, and serve up with orange peel garnish. Laser engraving is optional.
