A botanical cocktail inspired by the natural beauty of your home garden.

In celebration of our season in the sun, we’re exploring simple, flexible recipes for the freshest “out of the dirt and onto the plate” drinks possible in our Garden Variety cocktail series. Every creation features early-season edible flowers and baby greens, a weed or two, and other often overlooked offerings from Mother Nature.

For starters, give this spritely cocktail some palate-time. Botanical accents like celery, lime, and watermelon-apple meld with the herbacious tarragon gin and yellow chartreuse for a picture perfect sipping drink that showcases the natural beauty and freshness of your home-grown garden.

Tarragona

1 1/2 ounces tarragon-infused Barr Hill Gin

3/4 ounce watermelon-apple syrup

3/4 ounce celery juice

1/2 ounce lime juice

1/4 ounce yellow chartreuse

Shake and double strain into a large coupe.
