Dust off the shakers and chill the glasses: Governor Wolf signed House Bill 327 today, opening the way for bars, and hotels with bars, restaurants or hotels with a liquor license to sell cocktails to go.

“This new temporary rule creates more business for bars and restaurants when they need it, helps to meet customer demand and supports social distancing,” said Governor Wolf. The bipartisan bill was signed just in time for the long Memorial Day weekend, and for Pennsylvanians to support their favorite spots while maintaining social distance practices. His statement on the signing concludes with: “As we approach the holiday weekend, I encourage all Pennsylvanians to remember to drink responsibly.”
