Global Champagne Day
October 28 is Global Champagne Day and if there’s one thing that TABLE loves is bubbly with rich food. Here’s the math: an effervescent kiss (dry, tart, sweet) blending with a salty/savory bite creates a circus full of happiness for every mood. And because we love to lounge away the early evening at a nicely appointed bar, we recommend adding a cameo at one of our favorite haunts in Santa Fe this weekend for bubbles and bites.
Joseph’s Culinary Pub
The bar at Joseph’s is our happy place. We could call it our second home but we’d have to start paying rent. The food, the drink, and the vibe are always on and ready to invite us in. Good memories are always inspired by an order of duck-fat fries, which are likely to be a gateway to other delights.
Palace Prime
Self-control is not a virtue when sitting at Palace Prime, so why not go with it? Let the smoked green chile chicken wings from their happy-hour menu be the start of your perfectly decadent and fizzy evening.
The Staab House at La Posada
All Santa Feans have a story that starts like this, “This one time at La Posada…” and rightly so. The beloved Staab House bar, and hotel, are a must when doing the rounds. A glass of bubbles with their pear and prosciutto flatbread by one of their fireplaces…yes!
315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
If you know about the Steak and Frites at 315 then you know how to live your best life. The au poivre sauce is profound and should be enjoyed with a glass of inky red, but why not live outside the bounds of convention with a glass, or two, of champagne from their curated list?
