Adagio Health

In April, a local patient we’ll call Jane was getting ready to undergo breast cancer surgery. It’s a costly procedure that even under ideal circumstances can be daunting for patients. However, 2020 provided an extra set of challenges. Three weeks into the nationwide shut down due to the pandemic, Jane found herself in a situation where she needed financial help. She reached out to Adagio Health, and the team was able to enroll her in a program that enabled her to move forward and have the life-saving surgery she needed. As she recovered, her husband shared that the assistance Adagio Health was able to provide “has taken a huge weight from our minds along with the worry about finances, general health and well-being and safety. Facing the magnitude for this surgery in and of itself looks large, let alone with financial implications.”

Despite the many challenges of 2020, one thing is certain. Everyone deserves access to high quality healthcare.

The need is great. Our medical offices saw more patients this fall compared to last. Patients who were in need of breast and cervical cancer screenings, immunizations and blood pressure checks, resources for food insecurity as well as behavioral health services. Patients like Jane. And for many of patients and clients that we serve, we are their sole healthcare provider.

As we look to the future and our 50th anniversary in 2021, we are asking you today to make a commitment to our mission by making a gift to Adagio Health. A mission that for the past 50 years has been built on the belief that regardless of circumstance, you’re welcome here. Your generosity and support helps to break down barriers and decrease health disparities. For those individuals who cannot access our medical offices, your gift helps to bring the medical office to them, with the launch of our new mobile health unit. Thank you for all that you do to make our region a healthier place to live, for everyone.
