The Five O'Clock: Kentuck Knob
Mixologist Alyssa McGrath shares another of her fantastic inventions with us for today’s Five O’Clock: the Kentuck Knob.
It’s a combination of her love for Western PA and Old Overholt’s locally made rye, as well as her love of the versatility of Italian digestivos! You will enjoy the floral element of Montenegro mixing with the spicy nature of the rye.
Ingredients
2 oz. Old Overholt Rye
¾ oz. Amaro Montenegro
¾ oz. Lustau Solera Sherry (Or any Fino style of Sherry)
½ oz. Fresh squeezed Lemon Juice
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a shaker.
Shake and double strain over ice.
Garnish with a massive orange twist.
