There’s no better place to host your special event than the Mattress Factory, the premier contemporary art museum in Pittsburgh. Mattress Factory is well known for pushing boundaries in site-specific installations from artists from around the world, and the block. From the personal attention you receive during planning, to the detail-oriented execution by our knowledgeable staff, the Museum offers memorable experiences at the most fascinating venue in Pennsylvania.

The building, which once produced Stearns & Foster mattresses, was built in 1900 and features the perfect combination of history and contemporary design with exposed white brick, and rustic wood flooring. Our lobby is the perfect blank canvas for events, and the space can be transformed to fit your party and personal style. Add the backdrop of some of the most beautiful art in the world, and this is the perfect place for your special day, no matter how big or small.

Take the floor for your first dance in a beautiful urban garden, host a cocktail party where guests can marvel at four floors of installation art, or enjoy a team-building outing where you become the artists! At Mattress Factory, we celebrate art you can get into, and this experimental spirit ensures that your event will be as creative and unique as our art.

Mattress Factory is the perfect place to wow your guests, regardless of event size or scope. If you’re hosting an upcoming event – a wedding, fundraiser, meeting, or celebrating a milestone, let us help you make a lasting impression.

Our lobby and garden areas can accommodate as much as 350 guests, including both indoor and outdoor spaces, and the Mattress Factory offers a 25% discount on event space and interactive package fees to non-profit organizations!

More than a wedding venue, Mattress Factory is here for all of your special days. Yes, even that one!
