Fish Fridays
Lent is a 40 day season of reflection and preparation leading up to the Easter holiday. Whether you have religious ties to the observance of lent or you’re just in it for the food, Fish Fry Fridays are a Pittsburgh tradition that can’t be beat. Typically, people pile into churches, lodges, and restaurants to eat the classic Lenten meal, a crispy, deep-fried fish filet sandwich with sides galore.
