However you plan to spend this second Easter-in-quarantine, there are plenty of takeout options from area restaurants and bakeries. 

Take the traditional Easter egg hunt to a whole new level by filling plastic eggs with sweet treats from local bakeries. Impress your loved ones with a multi-course meal from your favorite, fancy restaurant. Or, make the day simple with a take-and-bake, big-enough-for-the-whole-family lasagna. 

Whatever you do, don’t skimp on the sweets.

The small Bloomfield eatery is offering two kinds of quiche – bacon, herbs, and cheese or mushrooms, herbs, and cheese – hot cross buns, pastry boxes filled with “spring fling” doughnuts, two cornmeal chocolate-chip scones, a carrot espresso muffin, and the “legit” coffee cake, and more.

Cater to your sweet tooth with their ricotta pie, or stay traditional by ordering one of the bakery’s Italian Easter breads with an Easter egg baked into the braided ring of dough.

Don’t want to cook on Easter? Forma Pasta has a delicious, easy option: lasagna. For $35, you can get the traditional lasagna, house noodles stacked with red sauce, cheese, and herbs, or the bechamel lasagna, spinach noodles layered with bechamel, zucchini, squash, eggplant, and roasted peppers. One pan feeds 6-8 people.

Their morning menu features a frittata, candied, crispy pears and bacon, and smoked gouda smashed potatoes. For dinner, find a wild mushroom risotto, French snipped beans, and braised pork tenderloin. 

Orders can be placed online. All items are available in two sizes, to serve two or four people. Pick-up is April 2 or 3.

Senti is offering their authentic Italian food for takeout and in-person dining this Easter. Their entree list has something for everyone; there’s a vegetarian benedict, salmon Pasquale – a salmon filet topped with a soft-boiled egg– Venetian-style lasagna, a classic, a lamb shank topped with a mint sauce, and much more.
