Chamomile Lavender Spritz

Light and floral with a zip of lime, this cocktail is perfect for summer drinking!

Chamomile Lavender Spritz

Ingredients

2 oz tequila

¾ oz lime juice

¾ oz lavender-honey simple syrup

Chamomile soda from Hoplark HopTea The Calm One is delicious, but a bit of lime-flavored soda water works well, too.

Blackberries, to garnish

For the syrup:

Boil ½ cup of water in a small saucepan. Once boiling, add ½ cup of honey and stir until it dissolves. Turn off the heat and add in 2-3 tsp of dried lavender. Let sit for 30 minutes (or until cool) and place in an airtight container and refrigerate.

For the cocktail:

Put the tequila, lime juice, and honey-lavender simple syrup into a shaker, then shake and strain into a rocks glass. Add in one, big rock of ice and top with chamomile soda. Garnish with blackberries and enjoy!
