The Five O'Clock: Social Hour Cocktails
Cecil Usher’s new bar, St. Clair Social, looks to invite the Pittsburgh community in for a drink and a bite, with room to mingle and nostalgia in the air. Even though they’re currently only serving up their signature hand-held sandwiches and beverages to-go, Cecil shares three cocktail recipes for you to try at home in the mean time.
Frozen Cider House Mule
Ingredients
1.5 oz vodka
.5 oz ginger syrup
.5 oz lime juice
3 oz apple cider
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice, pour, and serve.
St. Clair Old Fashioned
Ingredients
2 oz bourbon
.5 oz cocktail syrup*
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 dash Regan’s Orange Bitters
Instructions
Mix ingredients in a glass and serve.
Nitro Espresso Martini
Ingredients
1.5 oz vodka
2 oz cold-brew coffee
.5 oz Maggie’s Farm Coffee Liqueur
.25 oz burnt sugar syrup
.25 oz hazelnut liqueur
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a glass and serve.
